Has independently performed 2314 invasive cardiac diagnostic
and therapeutic interventional (pin-hole method) procedures as
the sole operator. The following procedures that I routinely
do are:
1. Coronary angiography – trans-femoral(through
the groin) & trans-radial access (from hand) approaches as
day-case.
2. Peripheral angiography of – upper limbs,
lower limbs, visceral arteries of various organs like brain, stomach,
kidneys etc.
3. PTCA or Coronary angioplasty – single
/ multi-vessel & complex angioplasty & coronary stenting.
4. Peripheral Angioplasty – of upper limbs,
lower limbs, visceral arteries of various organs like brain, stomach,
kidneys etc.
5. Balloon valvuloplasty – mitral / aortic
/ pulmonary valve stenosis
6. Permanent Cardiac Pacemaker implantation –
single / double chamber pacemaker.
7. Bi-Ventricular – Heart failure device
implantation for patients in recurrent heart failure.
8. Alcohol Septal ablation for Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy.
9. Non-Surgical Device closure of heart defects
like ASD / PDA / VSD
10. Non-surgical correction of Coarctation of aorta
